Make money with home based jobs to succeed at self employment, because lightning doesn’t always strike once. Most people will never write a bestselling novel, invent a money-making must-have product or create the Web site the rest of the world just has to visit. Most people will have to grind out employment with multiple home based jobs to succeed at self employment.

Though not all big dreams come true, it is possible to make money (and a pretty good living) with home based jobs. The real trick is finding them, getting them…and then, getting paid for them. It takes all three to really succeed at self employment.

There’s a huge market for writing on the Internet, while writing for the book market means a lot of stiff competition and potentially years of waiting for a big break. In the meantime, it’s a good idea to make money with home based jobs.

Want to be a great artist? Find a way to translate some of that talent to the Web, because plenty of businesses are looking for impressive page designers. There’s also a market out there for online and print book illustrators. Not everyone can paint the Mona Lisa, but it is possible to find home based jobs where artistic skill comes in handy.

Want to succeed at self employment? Learn how to keep an open mind and apply skills to several different fields. When professionals use their talents in several ways, they have a better chance of making money with home based jobs.

Professional gamblers would love to win millions of dollars in the World Series jackpot - the largest purse in the sport. But the truth is, most gamblers have to grind out their winnings slowly and one pot at a time. Succeeding at self employment is very much the same way - professionals have to move one home based job at a time to achieve any level of true security.
